Receptionist

Job description

Our dental practice is looking for a new front desk team member. Only apply if you have a welcoming personality, and are friendly, detail oriented, self-motivating, and willing to pleasantly work with other employees for the benefit of every patient, your co-workers, and our office. Must have medical/dental front office experience.

  • Self-motivated and positive
  • Interested and passionate in patient care
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Great at interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle time and content sensitive matters
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage patient appointments, providers' schedules
  • Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
  • Processing and scheduling new patient intakes
  • Checking in and out patients
  • Manage patient questions, requests
  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance verification is a plus
  • Maintain office organization and ensure adherence/compliance with office procedures and policies with all government regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and OSHA
  • Engage in various clerical functions as needed, such as scanning, filing, etc
